• Dark field objectives for observing samples that are indistinguishable from the background
• Bright field objectives for observing samples with contrast or color (i.e., stained histological samples)
• Infinity correction system, polarized observation
• Köhler illumination creates uniform sample illumination and ensures the light source image is not visible in the final image
• The 50x magnification objective is a spring-loaded objective (it has a spring-loaded front lens to prevent damage to the objective and the sample)
