• Infinity correction system, observation in reflected or transmitted light, polarized observation
• Köhler illumination creates uniform sample illumination and ensures the illumination source image is not visible in the final image
• The 40x objective is a spring-loaded objective (it has a spring-loaded front lens to prevent damage to the objective and the sample)
